Questions
What happens when I hit a monthly limit?
Everything you have already built keeps working: your decks stay live, your share links keep tracking, and your analytics keep recording. Only new AI actions pause. Add a top-up or move up a plan to keep generating.
Do unused generations roll over?
No. On paid plans allowances reset on your billing date. Top-ups you buy do not expire. The free deck is one-time and does not reset.
Why is there a limit at all?
Every generated deck, image, and answer runs a frontier model that costs real money per call. Plans priced as unlimited either get quietly throttled or get repriced later. We would rather publish the number.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Growth and above. Your deck is served from your domain with no Decktify branding anywhere in the viewer experience.
What exactly does the free plan give me?
One AI-generated deck. Not one a month, one in total: it is a taste, not a ration. You also get one project and one live share link that really tracks who opened it and how far they got, with 7 days of history. The deck carries a Decktify badge.
Why are AI images and AI chat not on the free plan?
They are the two most expensive actions we run, several times the cost of generating the deck itself. Rather than hand out a couple and cut you off mid-deck, we put them where there is room to actually use them. Studio includes 35 images and 200 chat messages a month.
Can I download my deck on the free plan?
No. Free is a shareable, tracked link rather than a file. PDF and PPTX export start at Studio, along with removing the Decktify badge.
Why is there nothing between free and Studio?
Because a cheap middle tier would mostly give people somewhere to stall. The free deck is enough to judge whether Decktify builds something worth sending. Studio is the actual product: your branding, unlimited links, exports, and enough monthly AI to run on.
Can agents build decks for me?
Yes, from Studio up. The MCP server exposes Decktify to Claude, Cursor, and any MCP client, so an agent can create projects, add context, generate decks, and manage share links. Agent-generated decks draw from the same monthly allowance.
Can I change plans later?
Any time. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current period.
